At BOOK2PASS, our driving instructors are all self-employed franchisees. You and your instructor are responsible for agreeing all matters relating to the timing, location, duration of individual lessons and payment. Payment for tuition should be made in cash or via bank transfer direct to the Instructor. On your first lesson you must present your instructor with a valid provisional licence. You will be required to pay in full for any lesson or test appointment that you cancel with less than 48 hours notice. You must let the instructor know this by contacting them directly. Payment should be made at the time of booking lesson slots, latest before lesson ends. If you are experiencing difficulty with a cash/bank transfer refund from your instructor. In the unfortunate event we can’t recover your money we may refer you to the following so you can report and make a claim against your allocated instructor: Money Claim online: https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome DVSA: https://www.gov.uk/complain-about-a-driving-instructor To change lesson time slots to a different available date/time please give a minimum of 48hr notice to your Instructor. it is not allowed for your friends or family to accompany you in the back of the vehicle whilst on a driving lesson. You must ensure that you are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs while attending a lesson. You (Not the Examiner) are responsible for the instructor vehicle while you are taking your practical driving test. in the unlikely event of a road traffic accident you would be liable for fines and insurance excess (up to £250). If you change your pick up or your drop off point without 48 hours’ notice it may not be possible to give you a full hour’s lesson (a full hour to be charged. If you are late for a lesson, the lesson will still finish at the arranged time. Missed time cannot be reallocated, nor can the lesson price be reduced. If your test is booked not local to your area or the Instructor was given short notice to cover your test, test fee may be charged at a higher price. All personal information and details given to BOOK2PASS are used to deliver the services intended and records are kept strictly confidential.
